Is there comfort to the nightingale who sang her heart
for nought... or pity to the student whose rose her
song has bought?
Is love not deeper than the sea? Tell me of its
worth! Can it be measured with a scale or compassed
round its girth?
The sacrifice of life and blood shall stain the white
rose red; crimson yet as scarlet until the song lays
dead...
Yet echoes in resounding voice o'er centuries of time,
a standard born of selflessness and ecstacy sublime...
For where is joy but hidden, beneath the pain so deep,
which pierced the song birds heart with thorn and
caused her then to sleep.
Can you hear the melody, which lingers in the sky, and
permeates my thoughts of you... I do not wonder why.

Attracted by the candle and your lovely silhouette,
I saw you stand and start to dance...and in my eyes we met.
The stars were burning brightly as lanterns in the sky...
brilliant torches filled the night as the birds went passing by.
The cosmic winds began to blow and stars began to sing ...
in spirals all about us and the sounds around us ring.
The music filled the sky with light again I saw your form,
against the panoramic sky in colors soft and warm.
The stars spun all around us and each contained your face.
Within each ray of starlight your name was softly traced.
Your essence was a fragrance which filled the night with bliss.
My heart reached forward from within to give a magic kiss.
I reached to touch your lovely face but found that you withdrew.
I saw a mirror where you stood and saw you looking through.
You gazed into the emptiness, a deep, dark crystal sea...
a horizontal cavern of all eternity.
When I awakened in a sweat I saw you standing near
and knew that I had been drawn back by your whisper in my ear. My heart was filled with gladness and even some with glee
to simply know that you had shared the dance of life with me.

just as
an autumn leaf drifts
upon the slightest
wisps of air
and floats
playfully
in breezes soft....
such are my
pleasant thoughts
of you

So many times in life it seems
that fortune passes by.
Others seem to have it all;
It makes me wonder why.
I work so hard to pay the bills,
with little left to spare.
My hope and consolation,
is knowing you are there.
A balance sheet is not my goal.
Net worth is not the end.
Nothing is more priceless,
than to have you as my friend!

I love you yet today, just like the day before, and even yet tomorrow, I shall love you more. My reasons are specific and if you should implore, my heart speaks to you softly..."You're the one that I adore!"
