I have to tell you, your poems I found like a message in a bottle. I stand here holding it in my hand, and in my heart. You have touched my emotions and brought tears flowing to the point I had to stop and dry them to finish reading the poems. I'm Scorpio also......I will keep and cherish your enchanting words...... and thank you for sharing them......only hope and pray to hear more from you and your inner soul and heart speaking through your poetry...

Nice web site, Steven. You have done a nice job on it. The pictures,
color and content are great. I book marked it and will continue to read
the poetry. I read "The River" which was written in 1982. You are a very fascinating man. Nice to have the opportunity.
Thank you, L.B. The river is one of my early works which is more whimsically written on one of those melancholy days

Hi Steve,
Checked out your web site. You have a very interesting assortment of poetry. I found your ode to a Coney Dog very humorous, especially since I just found out what one is. Recently having moved to Minnesota, it was a term that was new to me. Back east, a Coney (Island) dog is something completely different.
I do enjoy writing myself, not poetry, but short stories. I wish I had more time to write and hopefully I will some day. Nowadays, my creations are more functional than creative.

I loved PASSIONS AND THUNDERSTORMS. If you actually try to picture it as you read it. The concept of it just sorta takes you to another place away from reality and is very romantic. As I was visioning this after I read it the thought came to me as being on a pegasus flying across the sky with its two lovers but then I have a real weakness for pegasus and unicorns. I love them, To me they are so powerful, beautiful and free. I have actually had dreams about a pegasus coming to me and kneeling down for me to get on him and then standing up, taking off in a dead run, then spreading his wings and taking off in flight with me on his back and us just flying and free across a full moon lite sky.
