Haiku is an interesting form of poetry I have been experimenting with. It is restrictive in nature yet barely confining. The poetry is one of sharing an experience... rather a feeling or sensation of a moment. These are my attempts at this form of poetry... Eyes fluttered softly Gazed intently into mine mesmerized my heart Falling on the roof rain against the metal soothes sounding in my sleep bodies in embrace spoonlike in their fitted way peacefully sleeping Touching yet alone together yet far apart when does "true love" end? Happy tail wagging Man's best friend... childs pet tumbles the sound of laughter Checked my mail today petite with eyes that sparkled had to say hello sudden glance and smile eyes that danced with magic glow did we both feel so? ocean crashes on rocks sea foam caresses the sand slowly ebbs away paint in colors flow against a canvas waiting I want more of you Table set for two Food delectable as you May I have seconds? |
