A Delightful Children's Book "REDUNDANCE" By Steve Hodgin |
This poem is just one of many, intended for a book of children's poetry which I have written. This digital photograph became very pixelated when I transferred it to this web page (sorry) The photo is of a 14"x28" hand painted panel which illustrates the poem. This is the first and only completed panel of the 32 poem series. The second panel, "Horses", is nearly complete while the third panel, "Cars" is drawn on the painted background and ready for painted graphics and lettering. Finding time to produce things like this is difficult for me, since it is not an income producing activity. I have been hoping that some editor would fall from the sky some day and drop a big wad of money on me to complete the series. Unfortunately, when I ran the numbers through my computer to establish the statistical probability of this, the result was not a percentage, but of a sound program featuring perpetual laughter. Each time I tried to X out of the program I would get another "cookie" containing more sound bytes of people laughing. I finally had to reboot the computer to abort the program. |
